During our weekend together, I would like to offer a variety of yoga practices to support the overall theme of relaxation.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is about being, not doing. During this practice, we will use a variety of props to compose soothing and quieting poses. When the body feels supported and comfortable, the mind can begin to relax. This is the perfect class to start your weekend!
Gentle Stretch Yoga
This practice will blend gentle stretches and mindful movement to awaken the body. We will design the class around your immediate needs.
Full Body Relaxation: Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra commonly known as yogic sleep is a form of guided meditation where the practitioner is led towards a deep conscious state of relaxation. We will begin the practice with a couple gentle stretches before settling into Savasana pose. Once the body is comfortable, I will begin to direct your awareness through different parts of the body, relaxing each part while remaining motionless. This is a perfect practice to prepare yourself for a night of more restful sleep.
